Rouse was born by the sea. Bassett was born in the desert. One walked aimlessly along the beach, while the other sauntered the arid sands. After years making music in solitude, they met in the mountains and found that subtle sound that had been eluding each of them.

A sound they had never heard, yet was so familiar...as if your parents' record collection was found on another planet and played through a celestial device you’ve never seen before.

Since that first encounter, Roussett have spent their days conjuring and capturing that moonlit mountain sound...music for waking dreams.
